The student centre at uni, or rather one person from it is starting a small brewing thing for students. Come brew your own beer, or whatever. Ideas sound better when others explain it. I'm sure it makes sense.
Anyway, so the idea was for this to be like the label (or have a little bit attached for the label), but that'd cost too much to do, so its just going to be the logo design for websites and advertising and such.
I vectored (consider it a thick brush effect; its artisitic) the monkey myself, and therefore it can be any size you friggin well want it to be! Isn't that fantastic? I did the whole of the monkey, then spent ages trying to figure out the equivilent of a vector mask on illustrator, and let me tell you, that program is just confusing. But it works well for vectors, cause you can zoom in like 600% and work on it, and it doesn't get all pixelated like photoshop does.
Anyway. I might make the border a bit bigger. Don't know about the white in the background, might change that... maybe.
The client was going for a crazy, or rather free, primal look to the main image (thus the monkey, and font). I think I've reached what he wanted, I did walk him through some drafts, and he seemed fine with it.
Have you tried putting a thicker border around the tear drop? That could define the shape a little more. Or it could make it look like crap. I may have to use a shape with a banner around it sometime, work it! Nice job bro.
Thats really neat! Hey, would you mind if i added this to the gallery at ? We are a group that revolves around symbols and logos and that would, i think, make a great addition ^^ All credit goes back to the owner and creator of the graphic of course and I'm sure it's bound to draw some pageviews for ya as well

Might be a bit too many colours and detail for a logo but the monkey vector is still cool. The font is good too.

It was more like a label and an identity than a logo per say.
